Bring on the new year!

New camera should be here Wednesday, and I already have some stuff lined up for next year. ^_^

I'm looking forward to getting out of my art slump (new toys can do that!) and AT LEAST doing some crazy self-portraiture again. Who better to practice on, right? At least I only embarrass myself that way.

Until then, I'm going to be drawing up a storm and posting that to my drawing account so don't expect much here. If you want me to doodle something up while I'm at it, lemme know. It keeps me busy while looking for a second job.

Happy Holidays!

I'm going to start working on my art for Christmas cards/presents (since that's what I celebrate, myself), and I was wondering... would anyone like one?

Some of them are going to be drawn/painted, some are going to be photomanips, and others are going to be scrapbook-type stuff. Now, these are all going to be digital because I am broke as a mofo, lol. But yes. ^_^

So if you want one, let me know, and if you want something specific on it (a person, a theme, your character, etc) let me know too!

Been out of commission for a while due to stress/sickness/holidays/laziness. You know, the usual. That, and my boyfriend broke my keyboard and we couldn't replace it right away. *shrug* The new one is pretty sexy, though. And spill resistant.

Hopefully within the next month or so I'll have a lot of work to show as I'll be getting a new camera, which means... more resource images, textures and things, and new photography. Definitely might end up with some new lighting too, so that's a plus.

Actually, I did have another photo to upload but... as I was saving Photoshop died completely and knocked me back quite a few steps. (I know, save often blah blah, I was, but I had moved the image into a new document for cropping/resizing/text and went to save and KABLOOIE!) So I'm not sure if I'll ever re-finish it as I'm pretty ticked and displeased right now. And lazy. Yes. Unfortunately it was the best work I've done in a while photography wise and a little new style-wise. Definitely something I've been wanting to do for a while, but haven't had the motivation to do so.

For the past year I have just been really unsure of myself and pretty down in the dumps and it's shown in my work. (And the fact that I have not done nearly as much.) I realized this morning that all of my frustration, worries, and energy used to go into my art. I used it to distract myself from panicking too much, which I'm having extra issues now. Not sure... but I think it pretty much started when my camera was stolen and we lost our house. :/ I dunno.

If I don't come back before the end of the month, I would like to wish everyone here a very happy holiday season.

Just wanted to post and say that I've finally uploaded some things at my drawing account, ~of-doom

Haven't really drawn in a while and I'm pretty sure it shows. XD

But yay for having stuff up after like, 5 years. I'll probably go nuts and add more stuff to it in waves, since I miss doodling and messing around and all that. (Right now, most of that happens in a lined notebook I have sitting on my desk)
